Buford High School Athletics

Tom Beuglas Sr. has more than 50 years of experience in wrestling. A respected mentor to young people, he works with Buford’s freshman and junior varsity wrestlers.

• Coached in Ohio, Maryland and Georgia

• Coached at Parkview High School

• Coached at Archer High School

• Currently assists with Buford’s freshman and junior varsity wrestlers

Team Accomplishments

While coaching at Parkview and Archer, Beuglas helped the two programs win a combined 16 state championships:

• Eight dual state championships

• Eight traditional state championships

Administrative Career

• Served as principal of Lakeside High School

• Served as athletic director for DeKalb County

Honors and Recognition

• Elected to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2020

• Recognized for Lifetime Service to Wrestling
