BUFORD, Ga. — Buford varsity set the scoring standard at its home invitational on Sept. 26, earning a division-best 102 at Buford City Arena. The Wolves' junior varsity added a first-place finish, winning its competition by a 10-point margin.
Varsity's 102 topped the 7A field, finishing 1.5 points ahead of South Forsyth's 100.5. As the host, Buford competed for scores only and did not receive an official placement. South Forsyth was awarded first place, though the Wolves posted the division's highest mark.
The JV Wolves paired that varsity performance with a decisive result of their own, finishing 10 points ahead of the runner-up to give Buford a first-place trophy alongside its varsity scoring lead.
