Buford Men’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Varsity, JV and Freshman Schedules

Three teams and a full winter of basketball await as Buford prepares for the 2026-27 season.

Buford men's basketball has announced its varsity, junior varsity and freshman schedules for the 2026-27 season, laying out a 62-game path for the program from November through early February.

The varsity Wolves begin with an early look at home, facing Lambert in the Taste of Buford scrimmage on Nov. 3. The regular season opens Nov. 16 against Duluth, followed two nights later by another home matchup with Mountain View.

Thanksgiving week takes Buford to Kennesaw for games against East Paulding and Harrison before the schedule shifts into a challenging December stretch. The Wolves will visit Dacula, Central Gwinnett and Seckinger before competing in Santa Jam at Lambert on Dec. 18.

Buford will close the calendar year away from home with three games at the Panhandle Breakdown Classic in Lynn Haven, Florida. The Dec. 28-30 event gives the Wolves three consecutive days of competition before they return to Georgia for the heart of their schedule.

January brings a steady mix of home and road games. Buford will welcome Mill Creek, Dacula, Central Gwinnett, West Forsyth, Seckinger and Discovery while traveling to face Discovery, Collins Hill and Southwest DeKalb. A neutral-site meeting with Hebron Christian Academy in Monroe is also scheduled for Jan. 9.

The varsity regular season concludes in February with a road game at Mill Creek and home contests against Collins Hill and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee.

Buford's junior varsity team will play 19 games between Nov. 16 and Jan. 29. The JV Wolves open with consecutive home games against Duluth and Mountain View and will face a schedule that includes Lambert, Dacula, Central Gwinnett, Seckinger, Jackson County, Discovery, Mill Creek, Collins Hill, Lanier, Southwest DeKalb and Winder-Barrow.

The freshman Wolves begin Nov. 14 with two games in Lawrenceville and will play 18 times through Jan. 23. Their schedule is built around several two-game Saturdays, giving the group valuable opportunities to compete throughout the winter while also preparing for the program's next level.

Dates, opponents, locations and start times are subject to change throughout the season.
