Lydia Hamrick's softball future will keep her in Georgia. The Buford junior announced her commitment to Georgia Tech on Sunday, choosing the Yellow Jackets as her next stop after high school.

For now, Hamrick remains part of a Buford program she has helped sustain at the championship level. The Wolves captured state titles during both her freshman and sophomore years, giving her two championship seasons to build upon as a junior.

A middle infielder who also fills a utility role, Hamrick will bring experience from those title-winning teams to her college career.
