Buford competition cheer opened its 2026 season with two top-two finishes at the North Forsyth Cheer Classic on Saturday.

The Wolves' varsity squad captured first place in the Class 7A division with a score of 101.5. Buford finished ahead of West Forsyth, which placed second with 88 points. Host North Forsyth performed for a score only and recorded a 94.

Buford's junior varsity team added a second-place finish, completing a strong opening competition for the program.
