JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Buford opened its flag football season with a 12-0 victory over Chattahoochee on Wednesday, combining two touchdowns with a four-interception defensive performance.
Sophia Clark connected with Reagan Dollar for one score, while Mia Mouton reached the end zone on the ground. Clark completed 8 of 15 passes for 73 yards. Dollar caught eight passes for 34 yards, and Keiko Teague added three receptions for 32 yards.
Bryauna Appling gained 14 yards on three carries, while Mouton recorded 12 yards on five attempts.
The Wolves preserved the shutout by intercepting four passes. Crestina Falohun, Teague, Koko Hicken and Ava Rodriguez each recorded a takeaway as Buford began the season 1-0.
