Buford closed Thursday's competition on a high note, battling through three tightly contested sets to defeat Parkview after falling to Johns Creek earlier in the evening.
The Wolves dropped their opening match to Johns Creek, 25-22, 25-12. Emily Fernandez led Buford's attack with five kills, while Reagan Callender anchored the defense with eight digs.
Buford responded with a determined effort against Parkview. After narrowly losing the first set 26-24, the Wolves stayed composed and edged the Panthers 27-25 to force a deciding third set.
The momentum carried into the finale as Buford secured a 15-12 victory to complete the comeback.
Olivia Hayden and Sophie Crawford led the offense with 10 kills apiece against Parkview. Kami Oates and Nyla Page directed the attack, finishing with 11 assists each.
