BUFORD, Ga. — Buford volleyball split a pair of matches Thursday, earning a three-set victory over North Oconee before falling to Blessed Trinity.

The Wolves battled back after dropping the opening set against North Oconee, winning the match 22-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Olivia Hayden delivered a strong all-around performance in the victory, recording nine kills and 16 digs. Reagan Callender anchored the Buford defense with 15 digs.

Buford closed the night against Blessed Trinity. The Wolves pushed the opening set beyond 25 points but ultimately fell in straight sets, 27-25, 25-12.

Hayden once again led the way for Buford, finishing the match with 12 kills and nine digs. She totaled 21 kills and 25 digs across Thursday's two contests.

The Wolves finished the night with a 1-1 record.
