BUFORD, Ga. — Buford Football returns to the road Friday when the Wolves travel to Hoschton for a region matchup with Mill Creek.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Markham Field at Mill Creek High School.
Buford enters the contest 7-0 overall and 3-0 in region play after defeating Collins Hill 43-0 on Oct. 16 at Phillip Beard Stadium. The homecoming victory marked the Wolves' second shutout of the season.
The Wolves have outscored their three region opponents 149-7, earning victories over Seckinger, Dacula and Collins Hill. Friday offers another opportunity to strengthen their position in the region standings.
Mill Creek enters the matchup 3-4 overall but carries a 3-0 region record and a three-game winning streak. After opening the season with four non-region losses, the Hawks have found their footing against region competition.
Mill Creek began that stretch with a 37-13 victory at Discovery before defeating Central Gwinnett 43-16 and Seckinger 38-7. The Hawks have outscored those opponents 118-36 and return to action Friday following an open week.
Buford will look to extend its recent success against Mill Creek after winning the past two meetings.
The Wolves earned a 35-3 home victory in 2025, following a 32-7 win in Hoschton in 2024. Across those two games, Buford outscored the Hawks 67-10.
Mill Creek won the 2023 matchup 31-24 in Hoschton, while Buford claimed a 39-27 victory at home in 2022. The Wolves hold a 3-1 advantage across those four meetings.
Friday's matchup brings together two teams looking to protect unbeaten region records as the regular season moves into its final three weeks.
